RentGFnd is a platonic rent-a-friend platform. You can hire a local friend by the hour for a city tour, a dinner, an event or a wedding, shopping, hiking, sports, or simply good conversation. It is strictly non-romantic.

Search your city and compare friends by activities, languages, star ratings and hourly rate. Ask them a question or chat on the site, then send a booking request with a date, time and a public meeting place. The friend accepts, you meet, and afterwards you leave a star rating and review.

Anyone aged 18 or over. You can join as a Member (to meet friends), as a Local Friend (to earn by offering your time) or as an Organization (to book friends for guests, clients or a team).

Yes, creating an account is free for everyone. Women can use the site free. Men need a low-cost membership ($10.00 USD) to start chats and send booking requests.

Friends are listed across India (Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Jaipur, Goa and many more) and in cities worldwide such as London, New York, Dubai, Toronto and Sydney. See the Cities page for the full list.

No. RentGFnd is only for platonic friendship and company. Any request for romantic, adult or sexual services leads to a permanent ban.

Yes. Organization accounts can book friends for guests, visitors, clients or a team, and add the guest name to every booking.

Each friend sets their own hourly rate and many also offer fixed-price packages, such as a 3-hour city tour or an event plus-one. You always see the full estimated total before you send a booking request.

Friends in India charge in Indian rupees (₹). Friends in other countries show prices in USD. Search filters compare both fairly, so a price range finds friends in either currency.

Membership unlocks chatting and booking requests. Plans and prices are on the Membership Plans page, and you can see your plan any time in Dashboard → Membership.

Yes. Members can cancel a pending or accepted booking from Dashboard → My bookings. Please cancel as early as possible so your friend can plan their day. Membership fees are covered by our Refund policy.

Yes. If a friend offers packages, choose one in the booking form and the total updates automatically.

Friends are reviewed by our team, can earn a verified badge, and are rated by members after every completed meetup. Always chat on RentGFnd first, meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and report anything that feels wrong.

The friend sent our team an ID document and a selfie, and we checked that they match. It shows as a blue tick next to their name.

Use the Report button on any profile, or block a person from your messages. Our team reviews every report.

Keep it platonic, be respectful, meet in public, stay on RentGFnd to chat and book, and never ask for or share anything illegal. Breaking the rules can lead to a permanent ban. See the Community guidelines page for details.

To protect everyone on RentGFnd, profile photos are only visible to people who have verified their identity. Click "Verify with Google" and sign in with your Google account. It takes a few seconds.

Only that you have a real Google account with a verified e-mail address. We never post anything to your Google account. Profiles, prices and chat stay open to everyone, and only photos need verification.

Profiles tagged "Sample profile" are example listings that show how RentGFnd works. They are not real bookings, so they may not reply.

Go to Dashboard → Account → Delete account, or use the Delete account page. Your profile, photos and messages are removed.

After a completed booking the member gives an overall rating from 1 to 5 stars and can also rate Friendliness, Punctuality, Communication and Value for money. A friend's profile shows the average for each, plus how many 5★, 4★, 3★, 2★ and 1★ reviews they have.

No. Only a member who completed a booking with that friend can review them, once per booking. That keeps ratings real.

Yes. On Find a Friend choose "4★ & up" or "3★ & up", or sort by "Top rated".

Yes. Open their profile, go to the Q&A tab and ask. When they answer, the question and answer appear on their profile so others can see them too.

Sign up as a Local Friend and build your profile with photos, activities, languages and your hourly rate. Add packages, post updates to grow followers, answer questions, accept bookings and request payouts from your dashboard.

You choose your own rate. The minimum is $10.00 per hour, or ₹300 per hour for friends in India. You can also add fixed-price packages.

RentGFnd keeps 15% of each completed booking as a platform fee. The rest is your earnings, and you can see the exact split for every booking in Dashboard → Earnings.

Request a payout from Dashboard → Earnings by bank transfer, UPI, PayPal or Wise. Our team processes requests and you can track their status on the same page.

Featured friends are chosen by our team. Complete profiles with good photos, a clear headline, packages and great reviews have the best chance.
